It was a hot midsummer morning and the virgin forest Goddess woke up in a bad mood it seems. The enthusiastic hurrah!s must have brought her out of a deep slumber. Annoyed, she ordered her Bee batallion to take care of the Aliens trying to disturb her privacy. The colony geared up and swarmed towards and scattered the squad which took refuge in a waterpool.
As she was thinking the game was over and trying to get her sleep back, the head of the alien squad - PVG (Peter Van Geit) climbed the steep waterfall and guided the others to get a bit deeper into the forest. Now it is clear - the Forest Goddess and the Alien CTC N61. The strategy of the Goddess is to keep calm, till they reach deep inside the forest and notice their moves. After crossing the sliding pool and passing through tough trail of upstream water, the aliens reached the 650 meter peak and from there to a stretch of land. Now the squad is actively collecting bright yellow, green, red colored packets started to set three cooking pots and blazing fire beneath. The items they cooked was so bizzare as one was a thick liquid and other looking like a bunch of dried white twigs which were intertwined and on putting them into hot water and adding some ‘magic powder’ became earthworms. As the goddess was watching, the aliens collected all the empty covers in to trash bag. She was so relieved that they are not going to litter and ruin the beauty of the forest.
The next morning the squad invaded the 850 meter peak also and started their trail in search of the source of water. After walking for hours they could not find the source of water and at one point of time the aliens' pursuit is not finding the source of water but 'WATER'. For eight hours like the blood thirsty hollywood zombies the aliens wandered.... and wandered and still kept moving on. It not fun for the goddess to hide water but the reason is to know more about them. Now the aliens started to climb a steep hill. Half of the aliens were half dead and the goddess was sure that none of them are going to die in her land. What she is seeing now is something extraordinary. As the aliens were climbing they were helping and motivating each other still as a close pack. The goddess now wanted to shower her mercy as PVG ordered his squad to stay put till he returns with water. The aliens lay flat on the grounds in the spooky jungle and darkness creeped in along with the sounds of the nocturnal creatures. Every little sound reminded the squad of PVG but minutes passed very slowly.
Atlast PVG returned with water and rescued the dying squad and also took the squad to the water place which was also an exit point. Now the squad realizes that three aliens are missing. The goddess had them this time not for vengeance but to check if the squad has enough courage to come back and claim their mate back. And Yes! PVG with CTC rescue squad and a couple of villagers started their search. It took three wee hours for the rescue team to find the place where the three have stranded. On hearing them coming, the goddess stood up and started to walk her way. The three stranded aliens were given water and food and were taken safely to the exit point.
The two villagers who helped the rescue team bid good bye to PVG and went on the way.
“Do you know who they are?” One villager asked the other
“They are Trekkers from CTC” He paused “Chennai Trekkers Club”
“Did you see a women sitting with the three lost men when we rescued them?”
PVG Turned to them smiled and said - “She is Eywa”

(On reaching the 650 meter peak someone pulled comments from the movie Avatar and Peter and me kept referring to ‘Eywa’ at a few places during the trek which is why the name - “Eywa”)
